1. Select appropriate specification based on patient's trachea evaluation.
2. Remove sterile tube carefully from protective packaging.
3. Check main tube lumen patency prior to intubation.
4. Test the cuff, pilot balloon, and valve for integrity using a Luer syringe.
5. Evacuate all air after the test inflation.
6. Perform intubation using accepted medical techniques and a laryngoscope.
7. Inflate the cuff with just enough air to provide an effective seal (normally not exceeding 2.5kPa).
8. Fix the tube securely following standard medical protocols.
9. Periodically verify system integrity and cuff pressure during the intubation period.
10. Monitor patient conditions and clean sputum as required.
11. Deflate the cuff completely before extubation.
12. Dispose of the used tracheal tube according to medical waste standards.
