Surgical catgut suture (Plain and Chromic) is an absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of purified connective tissue (mostly collagen) derived from either the serosal layer of beef (bovine) or the submucosal fibrous layer of sheep (ovine) intestines.
The Chromic Catgut is treated with glycerin and chromic salt solution to delay the absorption.
The facility specialized in the production of medical consumables is equipped with Asia's largest catgut plant. It serves as a core enterprise for surgical absorbable sutures under the National Torch Project.
Our production lines strictly adhere to international quality standards, including ISO13485, CE, and FDA certifications. Products are exported to more than 70 countries and regions including Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
