Surgical catgut suture (Plain and Chromic) is an absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of purified connective tissue (mostly collagen) derived from either the serosal layer of beef (bovine) or the submucosal fibrous layer of sheep (ovine) intestines.
The Chromic Catgut is treated with glycerin and chromic salt solution to delay the absorption.

Advantages: Smooth tissue passage, excellent knot security, and high tensile strength. Needles are made from 300 series alloy steel for superior sharpness and performance.
Indications: Used in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including ophthalmic procedures.

Specializing in the production of medical consumables since 2012, our facilities focus on high-quality surgical solutions. The main products include absorbable surgical sutures (Plain/Chromic Catgut, PGA, PDO, PGLA, PGCL), non-absorbable sutures (Silk, Nylon, Polyester, Polypropylene), and various surgical materials including lifting threads, orthopedic casting tapes, and IV cannulas.
Our production base maintains rigorous quality standards, holding international certifications such as ISO13485, CE, and FDA. With one of the largest production plants for catgut, we serve more than 70 countries across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
